Caribbean Carnival Expands International Focus
June 14 Kick-Off Event Introduces "TallaFesta" International Carnival
Join members of Tallahassee’s international community to enjoy music and refreshments from the Caribbean and beyond. Help celebrate the launch of TallaFesta - a new international event to be held on September 14-15 in downtown Tallahassee. This kick-off party will introduce the new event and encourage the public and sponsors to join in making this first international carnival a success.

WHY: TallaFesta, to be held in downtown Tallahassee, Sept. 14-15, is an expansion of the annual Caribbean Carnival that Tallahassee has enjoyed for over a decade. This year’s event will celebrate cultures from around the globe, while keeping with the festive tradition of carnival. Additionally, the parade is being held the day after a special carnival-themed Downtown GetDown event.
Thursday’s launch event provides a sneak peak at the elaborate costumes, music and fun that will make this year’s event the best carnival yet!
