Apalachicola River
The Apalachicola River is approximately 112 miles long and runs from Florida’s northern border to the Gulf of Mexico.
It is formed on the state line between Florida and Georgia and serves as the boundary for the Eastern and Central time zones. It is fed by the Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers that submerge into Lake Seminole reservoir at the Jim Woodruff Dam. The Apalachicola River starts at the dam near Chattahoochee, Florida.
