Welcome to The Great Outdoors. Tallahassee and the surrounding areas have many lakes to explore.

Lake Miccosukee

Lake Miccosukee forms the northern border between Jefferson and Leon County.  It is considered as a scenic lake covered with aquatic plants and offers hunters a great place to duck hunt. It is the home to the endangered plant Miccosukee Gooseberry (Ribes echinellum).
