Birding Spots in Tallahassee Florida

Georgia/Florida Line

Directions from the State Capitol: Go north on South Monroe Street, US 27 and get on I-10 heading east.  Take exit 203 and head north on Thomasville Road, US 319. Go pass the Florida and Georgia state line until you reach the Shell Gas Station on the left side of the road.  Turn left next to the station onto Meridian Road. Go approximately1 mile to the stop sign.  Go straight for approximately 4 more miles and the Birdsong Sign will be on the left..

Directions from the State Capitol:  Go south approximately 2.5 miles on South Monroe Street. Turn right on Gaile Avenue.  At the light, turn left onto Crawfordville Highway.  Proceed south to Capital Circle where US 319 joins.  Continue south on Crawfordville Highway, US 319, approximately 22 miles to Medart.  Stay on US 319 to Sopchoppy.  Turn right on Sheldon Street.  Go 0.4 miles and turn left on Park Avenue.  Entrance to park is 0.5 miles on the right.
